Set in contemporary New York City, a seemingly ordinary teenager, Clary Fray (Lily Collins), discovers she is the descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from demons. Key cast members including Jemima West (Isabelle Lightwood) and Lena Headey (Jocelyn Fairchild) are missing from the list. Both the actresses will be filming other projects outside the US, Jemima in France and Lena in Iceland for Game of Thrones.
As a fan of Game of Thrones, I really don’t know if I’m excited to see Lena return as Cersei Lannister or disappointed she won’t be at the premiere. Either way, the list is partial and many more guests will be on their way.

As we had informed you previously, a set of trading cards is a part of the merchandise for the first installment in The Mortal Instruments franchise, City of Bones. Beckett.com posted pictures of a bunch of the cards by Leaf, which aren’t yet finalized but give us a couple of new stills from the movie.

Each box will contain 24 packs with six cards in each pack. Each box will also contain three hits, on average with two autographs and a movie-worn memorabilia card.
The base set will consist of 100 cards featuring scenes from the movie, character cards and even photo from behind the scenes.
The autographs will feature the main stars of the set including Lily Collins (The Blind Side), Jonathan Rhys-Meyers(The Tudors), Lena Heady (Game of Thrones, Sarah Connor Chronicles), and Jamie Campbell Bower. There will also be an autograph of The Mortal Instruments author Cassandra Clare.
The cards will be available in August at retailers like Walmart.
