Everything we learned about ‘Shadowhunters’ S2 from NYCC 2016!

The Shadowhunters panel at New York Comic Con 2016 today revealed a lot of cool new info from the second season.

Here’s a run-down of everything you need to know!

  • Malec will have their much-anticipated first date.
  • Jace Wayland will see worse before it gets better for him.
  • Luke Graymark, Jocelyn Fairchild, and Simon Lewis will all have their respective struggles explored.
  • Paul Wesley will be directing an episode this season! Here’s a message from him.
  • Mixed parts of the first cycle of The Mortal Instruments – City of Bones, City of Ashes, & City of Glass – will feature in this season.
  • Alberto Rosende‘s first day at set is his most memorable one.
  • Maia Roberts, played by Alisha Wainwright, will enter the show in episode 3.
  • Dom Sherwood is the biggest prankster on the set. (Ha!)
  • Most importantly, season two premieres on January 2, 2017.

Happy ‘Lady Midnight’ release day, Shadowhunters!

Today, we return to the Shadow World again, Shadowhunters! Emma Carstairs and Julian Blackthorn are taking us back in Lady Midnight, the first book of The Dark Artifices trilogy. BUT, there’s a lot to look forward to for Clace fans as well, so keep an eye out!

Cassie Clare announces US tour dates for Lady Midnight

The US tour dates for Lady Midnight, the first book in The Dark Artifices, are here. Cassie Clare will be on tour to promote the book, alongside her regular tour partners, Holly Black and Sarah Rees Brennan.

The tour starts in Los Angeles on the 8th of March and culminates in Austin on the 16th.

Shadowhunters is heading to New York Comic Con this October!

The ABC Family’s show panel will take place on Saturday, October 10, from 11:00am-12:00pm on the Empire Stage.

The panel will include exclusive footage and a Q&A with cast members Katherine McNamara (“Clary”), Dominic Sherwood (“Jace”), Harry Shum Jr. (“Magnus”), Alberto Rosende (“Simon”), Emeraude Toubia (“Isabelle”), Matthew Daddario (“Alec”) and Isaiah Mustafa (“Luke”), as well as showrunner Ed Decter (“Helix”), Executive Producer McG (“Charlie’s Angels,” “Chuck”) and book author Cassandra Clare.

Along with the show’s panel, Cassie will also promote Lady Midnight.

Friday, October 9, from 12:30 pm- 1:30 pm in Room 1A10 : Cassandra Clare Q&A and a sneak peek of Lady Midnight.

Shadowhunters to air in January 2016

While we know Shadowhunters is set to air in early 2016, author Cassie Clare is now confirming the show will be on-air in January.

Still no exact date, but looks like it might debut with the second half of Pretty Little Liars Season 6 since the first TV promos for the show also aired during the show’s season premiere in June.
